Youth Alpha
Exploring the big questions of life
What is Youth Alpha?
Youth Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that explore the big questions of life through the lens of the Christian faith. We intentionally create a relaxed, fun, and low-pressured environment so no question is ‘off the table’ and everyone is welcome. Alpha has been running all over the world for the last couple of decades in churches, pubs, prisons, schools, and homes where nearly 30 million people have taken part and loved the experience.
Who is Youth Alpha for?
Youth Alpha is for secondary-school-age students from any background, but perhaps specifically for those who are exploring faith for the very first time. It’s for the cynics, the sceptics and anyone with an open-mind!

What happens at Youth Alpha?
At each of the sessions you’ll be seated in a small group of people ‘cafe-style’ with free food and refreshments available. Each week there’ll be an engaging 25 minute film on various different topics, with an opportunity for open, honest discussion. The group is run by experienced volunteers from Burnham On Sea Baptist Church - all have been DBS checked and received suitable safe-guarding training. Youth Alpha provides a safe place to explore the bigger questions in life.
When is Youth Alpha?
Youth Alpha meets every week on a Wednesday at 6:00pm-8:00pm at Burnham On Sea Baptist Church and runs for 11 weeks . The next Alpha course begins 19th April 2023.... invite your friends! Check out the calendar for all the dates.
